Want to get rid of all your local branches 
that no longer has tracking connected to a origin/remote branch?
Command below, description for the curios.

Works in Linux and Windows (Git bash or powershell)

git fetch --prune && git branch -vv | grep ': gone]' | awk '{print $1}' | xargs git branch -d


Description:
git fetch --prune (gets all updates from origin and removes references to removed branches)
git branch -vv (Shows a detailed view over local branches and information about their remote branch connection)
grep ': gone (Filters all local branches that has status gone, which means removed from origin)
awk '{print $1} (Extract names of the branches matching the filter)
xargs git branch -d (Remove all branches that has been identified as removed from the origin/remote)
